Brand identity, Concept development, Branding and digital Performance for Con 2005 Ganas. This contest wanted to provide a space for musicians where they could show off their talent and win big monetary prizes.
This campaign wanted to find the best Colombian talent and it was made for the company Exile Content based in Los Angeles accompanied by Colombian artist Fonseca.
RECREATING THE Y2K ERA WHILE PROVIDING AND INVITING MUSICIANS TO PARTICIPATE IN A SAFE VIRTUAL SPACE
“Con 2005 ganas” was a virtual space created for musicians, Fonseca was relaunching a remix of his classic song “2005” that is why the contest is named “con 2005 ganas” because with Exile Content and Fonseca we were looking in Colombia for the best talent, musicians where able to win by recording themselves singing Fonseca’s classic remake song “2005” or singing any of their favorite 2000’s songs.
For the graphic line of the campaign we had a couple of factors chipping in: first, we created a visual language that was powerful and striking at first sight by designing a legible and impactful typography while also accompanying this with a set of colors that made Colombian public link the campaign with a nostalgic, fun and special time, the Y2K era.
We did a couple of creative exercises, pairing our impactful typography, our special set of colors with different icons and graphic shapes so that at the end we had an impactful, inviting and easily remembered campaign.
